~ Shape-shifters ~
Shape-shifters are beings that can take the form of anyone or anything and mimic the characteristics of said person or object. Usually when a shape-shifter assumes the outward form of a person the creature then goes about doing devious acts. The believed origin of shape-shifters is as normal people who always wanted to act like others. Isn’t that a lot like you and me? We are never satisfied being who we are and wish we were somehow different – sometimes to the point of wanting to be someone else entirely. ~ Demons ~
Demons were once people – people who lived a life of great sin, died, and then were sent to hell. These diabolical creatures can manipulate objects using telepathic powers and can assume control of anything that’s living through possession (http://narikchase.com/index.php/2017/05/26/list-of-demon-powers-and-abilities-in-fiction/). When a demon possesses a person then that person takes on super strength. In a nutshell, a demon’s purpose is to reign in Hell. In the guise of a cloud of black smoke, the demon enters into a person through their mouth. Demons do have weaknesses including rock salt, pure iron, a pentagram, and holy water. If these materials are brought close to a demon then the demon exits the body or returns to hell.
